Among our customers are folks who process meat, poultry, fish; dairy and ice cream plants; wineries and breweries; fruit juice, vegetable juice, and soft drink processing facilities; and bakeries and produce houses.


The last 40 years has been a time of great advances in the refrigeration industry: a time requiring that RSC's knowledge of the newest construction methods, technology and equipment evolve both well and quickly. Today, RSC team members work with a wide range of building and refrigeration products: from some of the cumbersome machinery designed in the mid-1950s to today’s state-of-the-art materials, systems, and equipment.

 

Food processors and managers face a wide range of challenges to produce high quality products. These include, at minimum:

creating optimal layouts of facilities and machines to process items;

automating for efficiency;

reducing pathogens;

moving quantities of perishable and non-perishable, dry and wet food;

providing space and storage for packaging materials; and

storing the end products for quick retrieval.

 

Some of our major clients include:

bakers, who require special facilities for mixing and large areas for temporary storage of both dry ingredients and finished products;

meat and fish packers, who need facilities for slaughtering, staging, and cutting their various products, as well as for such operations as blast freezing or quick chilling them; and

drink processors, who must have filters, bottling equipment, and often vast arrays of pipes, vats and tanks to convey the wares down the line and store them until needed.
